We are currently seeking an experienced Nuclear Disablement Team (NDT) Field Service Representatives (FSR) to join our team to support the 20th CBRNE Command in Edgewood, MD.

    Responsibilities

    The NDT FSR will directly support and interface with the NDT unit to provide sustainment, calibration, maintenance, equipment repair and scheduling, inventory, shelf life management, warranty management, equipment service-contract information, preventative maintenance and scheduling, shipping, and management of the asset management system that provides total support visibility. Must perform the following functions in the Global Combat Support System - Army (GCSS-A) and Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support, as needed by NDT: request, receipt, storage, accountability, inventory, issuance, delivery, turn-in, and maintenance for COTS and GOTS equipment as well as manage NDT-specified consumable supplies. The FSR will use GCSS-A to perform the majority of the aforementioned functions. The FSR will operate the unit-level GCSS-A for accounting of COTS, NDT specified consumable supplies, and other Government-owned scientific equipment. Maintenance and calibration is to be performed by the OEM or other qualified entity as specified by the Unit. The FSR will be responsible for coordinating with the vendor providing the services and arranging for the pickup and delivery of equipment from/to various NDT buildings on APG where equipment is located.

    Qualifications

    Experience Required:

    • 3-5 years experience with supporting DoD equipment with a BA or 5-7 years experience with an associates degree
    • Knowledgeable of CBRN COTS equipment unique to the 1st AML
    • Military/Civilian Background
    • 3+ years' experience in dealing with the Army supply system
    • Recommend courses of action regarding NDT's equipment maintenance and obsolescence to the project manager.
    • Warehousing operations background
    • Perform duties as a Supply and Service Support Representative (SSSR) to perform functions in Global Combat Support System - Army (GCSS-A) and Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) (request, receipt, storage, accountability, inventory, issuance, delivery, turn-in and maintenance for COTS equipment.
    • Maintain and calibration to be performed by Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or other qualified entity by the NDT organization assigned response teams.

    Preferred:

    • Direct experience with the 20th CBRNE Command desired
    • Knowledge of CBRN operations preferred
    • HazMat experience
    • Military experience with CBRN COTS equipment sets
    • Working knowledge of inventory management with (GCSS-A) and (DMLSS) automated systems.

    This position will require that a candidate have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level clearance, which requires US Citizenship.
