Responsibilities

Veteran Corps is currently seeking well qualified candidates to perform the following:

  • SAP Functional Consultants to support the Navy ERP Program. We are seeking expertise across multiple functional areas. If you have experience enhancing SAP systems, performing fit gap analysis, writing functional designs, performing system configuration and subject matter expertise in any of the SAP modules from the list below, we would like to talk to you!

    • Analysis, design, and testing of components.
    • Perform system configuration as necessary; conduct fit gap analysis.
    • Maintenance, enhancement, and development of modules.
    • Analyze, design and test break/fix requests and enhancements to modules.
    • Provide and own application support in assigned areas.
    • Anticipate, identify, track and resolve issues and risks affecting the applications.
    • Participate in the installation of application releases into production as directed.
    • Create operational documentation for the application.
    • Meet service commitments for assigned deliverables and proactively provide work status.
    • SAP Project Systems (PS): Experience in designing/configuring business processes in SAP PS to: support the planning, control and monitoring of programs/projects including limiting actions that can be performed (i.e., open or release for charging, logistical close, temporarily lock a project from charging, financial close, funded program); enable project simulation ("what if" analysis); collect time charges for appropriate project objects; reconcile differences between AVC and FM ledgers; and schedule activities and events (detailed project scheduling project milestone scheduling, integrated program scheduling).
    • SAP Cost/Controlling (CO): Experience in designing/configuring business processes in SAP CO to: manage the flow of cost and revenue including assignment and management of cost and activity planning functions, assignment and management of overhead allocation functions; view actual costs by cost object (cost center, internal order, WBS, etc.); view/manage variances between planned cost and actual cost; generation of government reports.
    • SAP Sales & Distribution (SD): Experience in designing/configuring business processes in SAPSD to create and process sales orders including development of quotations, orders, and invoices and subsequent billing runs. Must have expertise integrating with MM, FI, and FM to integrate functionality.
    • SAP Workforce Management (WFM): Experience in designing/configuring business processes in SAP HR to handle personnel administration (i.e., awards, leave and training requests), personnel time management (i.e., personnel time recording, civilian time and attendance, interfaces to payroll, military muster), employee self service/manager's desk top (i.e., leave requests, contact information, time approval, workflow), display and management of organizational structures, personnel development (individual development plan creation and monitoring, civilian appraisals/awards, qualification/certification profiles), and training and events management.
    • SAP Warehouse Management / Inventory Management (WM/IM): Experience in designing/configuring business process in SAP WM/IM. Must have knowledge of SCM and warehouse management/inventory management business processes and knowledge and expertise in all phases of development and deployment lifecycle.
    • SAP Order Fulfillment (OF): Experience in designing/configuring business processes in SAP MM/SD including: sales orders routing and data flow; definition of sales order types; material determination/listing and exclusion, output determination, requisitioner variants, sourcing implications on order fulfillment options, automatic materials release, global ATP Check integration/interfaces, backorder management, manual sales order processing rules, processing of CASREP & NMICs/PMIC requisitions, MOV process, bounceback procedures, Auto PPR/PIR/ BPR maintenance, and SMA/CWT.
    • ABAP: Experience to support ABAP development and implementation of Navy ERP. Candidate

    must have strong ABAP/SAP Development Implementation experience working with several modules - MM/FI/FM/CO/SCM /PS/ SD/ WM/IM/OF across all life cycles of implementation. Experience with ABAP for HANA is highly desired.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

  • Nine (9) years of general experience in specific area of expertise including functional experience with relevant processes
  • Expert knowledge and experience with U.S. Federal financial management processes
  • Location: Mechanicsburg, PA. 50% Remote and 50% travel to Harrisburg, PA (Monday-Thursday work week when onsite).

 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  •  Prefer a minimum of six (6) years of SAP experience
