The mission of Veteran Corps is absolute dedication to exceeding the needs of our customers through intelligent, proactive customer service and commitment to excellence in all of our partnerships. We are currently managing several high visibility government sustainment contracts and seek an experienced Logistician / CBRN COTS Equipment Technician to join our project team.


The Logistician /CBRN COTS Equipment Technician reports to the Sustainment Project Managers and provides equipment sustainment support to Veteran Corps' sustainment project teams throughout the entire COTS equipment life cycle management process. They will also travel to the supported unit's locations to conduct onsite sustainment support of fielded equipment. Coordinates with units to ensure all equipment is monitored for performance and maintains established Operational Readiness Rates. Performs inventory, inspections and verification of the maintenance, equipment operation, hardware, materials, and systems to assure operational readiness of CBRN equipment at home base and remote locations. Travels to training and storage sites to support equipment use and operations. Interacts with field units through various methods including in person to evaluate and troubleshoot issues. Ensures all data is up to date and accurate in Logistics Information System (LIS).



Veteran Corps is currently seeking well qualified candidates to perform the following:

  • Maintain equipment located within VCA's warehouses assigned to sustainment and refresh contracts
  • Travel to supported units locations to conduct sustainment operations
  • Prepare purchase requisitions to procure equipment needed to sustain equipment sets within the LIS and Costpoint
  • Receive, inventory, and ship equipment to and from warehouse, unit, or repair facility.
  • Maintain equipment records within a Logistics Information System (LIS)
  • Conduct equipment reset operations to refresh the equipment sets to like new condition
  • Travel up to 50%


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Commercial off the shelf (COTS) equipment familiarity of CBRN Response Mission Essential Equipment.
  •  Minimum of 4+ years of experience working with CBRN equipment or warehousing logistics of government equipment
  • Microsoft Office Products utilization
  • Organized and deadline oriented; able to function both independently and as part of a team; thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Active Secret Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Previous military or government experience.
  • Logistics background with CBRN equipment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of government procurement cycle.
  • Experience with an LIS Tool (Maximo, Viper, or similar system)
