Our Logistics and Mission Support Directorate is seeking a Sample Collector 2 to join a team in Camp Casey/Hovey South Korea in support of Environmental Air Monitoring Program.

Responsibilities

Selected, qualified candidates will perform the following:

 

  • Collect, process and transport samples as necessary;
  • Operate laboratory analysis equipment and report results accordingly;
  • Manage the laboratory (and associated consumables);
  • Manage sensors (and associated consumables);
  • Conduct daily preventative maintenance on laboratory equipment IAW manual and SOPs;
  • Perform minor maintenance, PMCS, troubleshooting and replacement of equipment at a user level.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • HS or Bachelor's preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience 
  • Familiarity with Bio/Chem Sensor Experience required

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Microbiology Laboratory Experience 
  • Prior experience developing, planning, and participating in CBRNE training events or exercises 
  • Knowledge of CBRNE operational requirements and training needs

 

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
